#GIST » Franca Ify Nduka — "Most People Labelled Female Actress, Nurses, Bankers, Marketers As Being A Professional Prostitute" »

A popular Bank Assurance Marketing Staff of Keystone Bank who turn to a popular movie producer and actress (Miss Franca Ify Nduka) takes her time to talk about her view on how Most People Labelled Female Artists, Actress, Nurses, Bankers, Marketers As Being A Professional Prostitute" in the world today during an exclusive interview with the Tipzloaded.com Crew.... Sit down and enjoy what she said....

Good day lady,please introduce yourself.
My name is Franca Ify Nduka, am from Orlu Imo state,Nigeria. I reside in Lagos, an Ex- Bank Assurance Marketing Staff of Keystone Bank Insurance Limited where I worked before resuming fully into the entertainment world,I am the CEO of Blazing Stars Image Creation (AkA) Image line Movies and Creation,an all rounder entertainment world.

How will you describe your personality?
Franca Ify, Am elegant and easy going lady without any kind of opposition. I have the fear of God in me,I put God first in anything I do and in all I do.

Did you study an acting and producing related course in the university?
 Nope, I did not.

What really bring you to acting and producing movie in the 1st place?
Actually,i have flare for it or rather I will say that's where the foundation of my vision lies.

What challenge do you currently face in the industry?
I will say the challenge is finding a good person to trust and work with
.
Did you learn how to produce a movie or you just copy it from others?
Like I said,I quote, "that's where the foundation of my vision lies", it has been my vision right from my primary school days, let's say from my primary 5, Am not the type that does things because others are doing it,I follow my heart, I listen to my spirit man,I act base on what the spirit dwelling in me fashions.

What are some of the movies you have featured in?
Actually, back then when I was a jambite I did some waka pass and two scenes in movies like, cry for help, crucify, Dying for the Nation, No woman no cry, Battle of love, onwa December and few others. I also worked as crew member as an assistant welfare and assistant make-up artist then,I then stopped acting for like 11years before I now came back fully into the industry to stay and make my vision be manifested and that was when I produced and also acted in the movie Unexpected 1 and 2 featuring Charles Onojie, Francis Odega and T.T. Temple Ikeji.

Have you had bitter experiences with senior actors and producers?
Actually not with an actor nor a producer but the person who claims to be a director.

How were you able to get the two going?
Its really wonderful, especially when you working with wonderful crew most importantly, and God with you.

What are the challenges you face in combining Acting and Producing?
Once you have the right and good crew as a producer/actress, you won't face challenges like that because the crew will always work to your satisfaction but you must treat them all well accordingly with respect so that when your on set everything will go normal.

Was there any time you get tired?
We are human,we live in the body,we are flesh, the flesh do get tired you know and when that time comes, what do you do? You give it a rest.

What kinds of dialogues do you think are possible between Actors/Actresses and Producer?
We are different people with different mind-sets and ideology. We are people of different calibers with different thinking and understanding but I think whatever the dialogue maybe,it should be placed on the career aspect on a good mutual ground.

Some say the bane of Nollywood is that it is too commercial and obsessed with the bottom line, profit. Is this a fair criticism? If so, what are your suggestions?
(Laughs) Well, this have to be reserved for another time.

What should your Fans be expecting from you?
My fans and people should expect the best from me. Currently,am working on a project, its a talent pageant, a reality show tagged "CREATIVE AND MOST TALENTED HUNT AFRICA" for both the male and female youths and young talents. The project has a lot of packages to unveil to the society, its for those who are skillful, creative and talented in one area or the other e.g (designing ,Weaving, knitting, Crafting, painter, artists, Book writer,art/colouring) and so on. Its a project that will be needing 72 contestants from all over Nigeria and Africa,it has a lot of benefit for all the participants. Also, for the project we will be working with people like Uti Nwachukwu(Former Big brother Africa) Kenneth Nwadike(Winner Model of Africa,2011), Denrele Edu, Kaffy, CEO of Big Jamz entertainment(Barbra Kosofin a white lady from Cyprus),Mery Aigbe,Eku Edewor also Kanu Nwankwo(former super eagle captain) and we are looking at having performing artists/Comedians like, Flavour, DonJazzy, Joel Amadi,Yemi Blaq,Rekardo Banks, Korede Bello, Tiwa Sage, Yemi Alade, Kiss Daniel, Lord of Ajase,Austine Igwilo, Brain Okpara, Funke Akindele,MC Abuko, Emeka Smith, Apkororo,Mc Gordon, Francis Odega, Charles Onojie and some others plus host of up coming artist, comedians and models/Fashion designers who also want to showcase themselves. We have supports from politicians and big companies in the Country. The portal where youths and young talents who feel they have what is takes to be the next "Creative and Most Talented" super star will be out in February for online registration. That's all so far,

But please what is the motivation behind this big project "creative and Most Talented Hunt Africa"?
The motivation behind it,is that, its my vision, its my dream and it must be actualized. I can't allow it reside in me,I can't die with it, to me its a sin to be buried with your dream.

People now see females in the industry as a kind of prostitute. Please what can you say about this?      Am not surprise to receive this question from you. Well, people always classify career ladies as such even when I was still working in the financial institution most people labelled female bankers, insurance marketers as being a professional prostitute even our female students in the Universities people do label them as prostitute(aristos) as well or is it our female Nurses in the Hospital! So, the entertainment industry can't be left alone because its an industry that expose you to the public,to the world in a wink of an eyes. But,what I will say is this, any female coming into the industry, should try to know this that in the entertainment industry is not all that easy to get a job but you have to exercise patient, give your best whenever an opportunity comes to you no matter how little it may be because most producers/Directors/Marketers don't mind using some selected faces in every of their job because those are the people who registered under their respective production houses, I know so many of them like that but won't mention a name here.

What advice can you give to your fellow female mate in the industry?
My advise is this,be yourself, be original,be creative, have your education, try to know where your vision lies, when given an opportunity do your best and bring out the best in you to do it no matter how little the job is. Most of this celebrities today all started it small with either waka-pass or 2 scenes and some started by being a crew member.

What do you have to tell your fans who don't know you and those who know you and still love your work?
All I have to say to my fans is this, "I LOVE U ALL" but God loves you All most, lots of kisses from me to U all and don't forget, watch out for the "CREATIVE AND MOST TALENTED HUNT AFRICA" be part of it, register online when the portal is out if your are youth(age 16 - 32years) or a young talent(age 8 - 17years) who wish to contest or you get the ticket to the show when the time comes.

Please can you drop your contacts for enquiry and other questions?

#ARTICLE » Dunnie {@OFFICIALDUNNIE} — A Lovely Side Attraction for Valentine's Day »

A guarantee for a love-perforated scene in weddings, live musical performances, special anniversaries, love-oriented gatherings, gardens and cool bars, date, engagement and karaoke nights, relationship make ups and the ever present lover's day celebration - Dunnie's YBNL Mash Up (Listen Here).

Ofcourse, Dunnie didn't just fly out from the blues. Dunnie is an Abuja-based afro-fusion superstar (a genre which constitutes of, afro, soul, hiphop, rap & blues). She started singing as early as 4 in the church (children) choir, taking solos and lead vocals. On clocking 12, she fell for the drums in the adult choir and married the guitar at 16. She wrote her first song in 2007 and has since then been a regular writer and performer at various entertainment events.

Her first single, ‘E Go Beta’, released in 2012, was at the number one spot on Cool fm Abuja’s Top Ten Countdown for 3 consecutive weeks. Damn!

The 23 year old multi-talented, unsigned female vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist (guitars, drums) is a current final year Sociology student of University of Abuja.

In the last few weeks, Olamide made two open statements; why he won't sign a female act and if he dares try to, the female act must be a mix of alternative Nigerian singer, Asa and American femcee, Dej Loaf. This was before Dunnie's YBNL Mash Up, a response not far from the expectations to silence Olamide's earlier statements, came alive.

Dunnie's YBNL Mash Up is well received online, on air, on ground and otherwise from fans, friends and well wishers after her previous covers "Jaiye Jaiye" and "Surulere", single "My Tomorrow" and the collabo with Mac Roc, "The Way You Are"; as Guarantee Trust Bank recognizes the YBNL Mash Up as their Best New Track of the Week, right upon release. Now, that's what's up.

Dunnie's YBNL Mash Up comprises of melodious mixtures of Olamide's "Baddo Love", "Melo Melo", Adekunle Gold's "Orente" and "Pick Up".
"Baddo Love" blows up the minds of the audience, leading the way to the inviting "Orente" just as "Melo Melo" bursts through, before the YBNL Mash Up peaked at the low-tempo "Shakiti Bobo" piano samples with an August visit, thereafter, "Pick Up" graces the entire lively musical performance.

Dunnie's YBNL Mash Up is a lovely side attraction for valentine's day. The few lapses in Dunnie's singing couldn't stop the YBNL Mash Up from excelling accordingly as an acoustic masterpiece even though I expected the peak of the YBNL Mash Up to have been stable much longer so as to assume absolute love-filled serenity. Regardless, Dunnie was found to have fused every song comprised in the YBNL mashup with creative lyrics, frequent tempo and extremely high vocal strength.

An amazing talent like Dunnie can never be a minus to what Olamide sees as the future state of female acts in YBNL, rather, a blend of her with the YBNL toaster, Adekunle Gold can only determine a withheld vocal-base on the long run for YBNL in the music industry. My optimistic perspective has it that, her real challenges are the likes of Nikki Laoye, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage.
