Most Beautiful Igbo Girl Universe (also known as MOBIGUN) is a pageant, where Ladies of the age range 17-28 would compete to be the MOST BEAUTIFUL IGBO GIRL UNIVERSE.
Contestants shall be evaluated on the basis of their uniqueness, intelligence, physical appearance, eloquence, compatibility, fashion and style with focus on Igbo Cultural promotion.
42 candidates, selected by HIGH-ESTEEMED Panel of Judges, will be camped for 11 days where they will show their understanding of the Glory of Igbo culture, traditions and lifestyle. The daily activities of these contestants will be aired/broadcasted on LIVE TV/Websites/Social Media Platforms and the general public given the opportunity to vote electronically and otherwise. They would stay together, solve riddles and complete tough tasks within their 11 days in camp.
These candidates would consist of 42 females, who would then compete to be among the 37 Finalists and then to be winners. The winners (Winner, 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up) will be announced/presented by a Highly-regarded traditional ruler in the Igbo land and witnessed by reputable Igbo personalities at the GRAND FINALE dinner night.
Winners (Winner, 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up) will be exposed to represent Igbo Nation in Pageantry events nationwide and internationally.
She will be able to instill the values and knowledge of Igbo cultural heritage in her everyday life. She will also go for talk shows, campaigns and road shows to promote Igbo heritage and culture.
She will also exhibit our rich cultural heritage in other states/countries during their cultural events.
